Why go through winter thinking it is the most miserable time of year? Get over the winter blues with some Bibury Jazz sounds. On February 21st join us for an evening of mellow live Jazz sounds and enjoy some Bibury Trout 'n Chips or Chicken 'n Chips with a glass of wine or a pint of beer. £18 per person. Thursday, February 21st, 2013 from 7pm - 9pm.
February 21st - Piers Green (sax), Nial Tompkin (guitar) and Tim Dawes (double bass)
Piers Green is a saxophonist of rare subtlety, using the alto version of the instrument to wind intricate melodies throughout his superbly dynamic solos. Nial Tompkin is guitarist with cutting edge vocalists Ola Onabule and Poly Gibbons and the Three Earls - beautiful harmonic style with funky overtones. Tim Dawes, is one of the stalwarts of the London scene, an epic timekeeper and virtusoso at the dusty end of his beautiful vintage double bass.
