Hello, and welcome to our website. We hope that you find all the information about our Cotswold hotel that you need to know. Like many hotels in the Cotswolds, the hotel is built of beautiful Cotswold stone - it is an old Jacobean manor house set in half a dozen acres of beautiful land through which the river Coln flows. We are right next to an old village church at the edge of the village of Bibury, surely one of the most photographed villages in the Cotswolds, and arguably, in the UK. To walk the area is a joy, a pleasure on the eyes, ears and senses.
Bibury Court hotel is a perfect get away from it all destination. It is quiet and peaceful. The oak panelled Drawing Room has a welcoming log fire roaring away on inclement days. Tea is leaf and available in great variety. Traditional Afternoon Tea is a full blown affair here. The rooms are individually furnished with antiques and comforts like bath robes, mineral water, good hospitality trays, soft, fluffy towels and very, very comfortable bedding. The air is of a homely country house - a bit quirky, full of character and pretty laid back. Staff are friendly and helpful - around when you need them but standing back enough to ensure you are relaxed and comfortable during your stay. No pretences here, just a pleasant ambience, lovely surroundings, good food and wines. The Oak Room restaurant has 2 AA Rosettes, much deserved and the food is British with a modern twist. Oh, and we are dog friendly - at least we are in some of our bedrooms.
Cheltenham, Oxford, Bristol and Bath are all within easy travelling distance. Westonbirt Aboretum, Blenheim Palace, popular antique centres and gardens - Bibury is in the heart of the Cotswolds so a good place to base yourself when exploring this beautiful part of the world.
