Just like the surrounding countryside, the menu choices change to reflect the seasonal bounty, the produce available and what delicacies may be to hand on that day – here is just a taster of the choices from the Origin Tasting Menu, the Origin a la Carte Menu and also the Lighter Things Menu. Origin Tasting Menu (available Tuesdays - Saturdays)

Wye Valley asparagus ~ scotch pheasant egg with pressed chicken juices & seasonal foraged leaves
Ceviche of turbot ~ buckthorn with radish & cucumber juice
Soused mackerel ~ fennel with watercress & dill
Loin of rabbit ~ heritage potato dumplings with wild garlic and rabbit broth
Fresh Cerney goats cheese with roasted onion flavours & pennywort
Twice-baked Westcombe Cheddar soufflé with Paddy’s leeks
Origin black pudding ~ roasted apple with crab apple jelly & cider butter sauce
