To guarantee a reservation, we'll need a credit or debit card from which we will take a £50 deposit. The deposit will be refunded if the booking is cancelled up to 7 days prior to arrival. Up to 3 days prior to arrival, any deposit for a cancelled booking will be retained to set against a further booking if made prior to the end of the year. Cancellation 2 days or less may result in the full total of the first night's stay being charged. Please note that transactions made with an American Express card will be subject to a processing charge of 2.5% of the total bill.
Arrival and departure times...
Rooms are usually available from 3pm onwards on the day of arrival and we ask that they are vacated by 11am on the day of departure.
Bibury Court is a Grade I Listed building, and we do not have a lift in the hotel. All rooms have to be reached by stairs. We do have one ground floor room though. Please ask our reception team for further details.
We allow up to two dogs per room in our standard double or Classic rooms only. A charge of £15 "Pawterage", per dog, per night will apply. A set of dog rules are available at the time you make your reservation.
Most major credit and debit cards are accepted, as is cash.
If you cancel your room within 7 days of your booking and we are unable to re-let the room we will make a charge against your credit card to the value of the first night's stay.
In the event Bibury Court Hotel requires to cancel your reservation all monies/deposits paid shall be returned or an alternative date reserved.
Prepayment will be required for room bookings at certain times of the year or under specific offers running.
Full Terms and Conditions
‘Acceptance of Terms & Conditions’ means the acceptance of these terms and conditions and all of the specific conditions of your booking as set out in the booking confirmation letter.
‘Booking’ means the order placed by you (Client) to stay at The Property on the date specified by you at the time of booking.
‘Booking Conditions’ means the email sent to you by Bibury Court Hotel confirming receipt of your booking deposit and the details of the package , room type and duration of stay and any further conditions of booking which you have committed to, a letter may be sent if requested in place of an email.
‘Date of booking’ means the date you paid a deposit to book the property for a specified date.
‘The Client’ means both of the person’s party to the booking, Also known as you.
‘The Property’ means the building known as Bibury Court Hotel, and its grounds, including all fixtures & fittings.
‘Us’ means Bibury Court Hotel
‘Your’ means associated to or belonging to you.
‘We’ means Bibury Court Hotel
‘You’ means both of the persons party to the booking, known as the client.
Terms and Conditions
2.1 These terms and conditions, along with any
specific conditions of booking as set out in your booking confirmation email,
represent a contract between Bibury Court and you. No variation to these terms
and conditions or to any conditions of
bookings set out in the booking confirmation email shall be binding unless
agreed in writing between an authorised representation of Bibury Court Hotel
and you. If there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and
the terms set out in the booking confirmation
letter, the booking confirmation letter shall prevail to the extent necessary
to remove inconsistency.
3.1 By paying your booking deposit you agree
that these terms and conditions and any conditions of the booking set out in
the booking confirmation email apply to
the contract between us.
3.2 The booking deposit also represents an
initial payment against the final cost of your stay.
3.3 The booking deposit is non-refundable except
where cancelled by us in accordance with clause 4.2
3.4 All Bookings are on a bed and breakfast
basis only, unless other terms have been agreed and outlined in the booking
4.1 Unless otherwise agreed by us in writing,
you will make further payments in respect of your booking as follows:
4.2. For bulk bookings of 4 or more bedrooms, 50 percent of the room only total shall
be due 21 days prior to arrival.
4.3. For all bookings full payment of the
bedrooms and goods received during your stay is required on departure except
any bookings taken under clause 4.6
4.5 Payments can be made by debit card or bank
transfer or cheque.
4.6 Any special offers or package stays will
have separate payment terms and conditions as stated with the offer; this may
require full payment of stay in advance.
7.1 To assist with the preparation for your
stay at Bibury Court final guest numbers in bedrooms are required 7 days in
advance of your stay.
7.2 Additional children may stay in rooms at a
charge of £25 per child per night over the age of 4, please note not all rooms
are suitable for additional beds, please check this at the time of booking.
7.3 We would ask 7 days notice for any specific
dietary or other requirements in advance of your stay, we shall endeavour to
help with minimal notice but guarantees to meet the requirements cannot be made
at late notice.
7.4 Dogs are permitted in a limited number of
rooms, up to 2 dogs may stay in these rooms at the charge of £15 per dog, any
damaged caused to the premises by a clients pet shall be the responsibility of
the client to settle at departure.
Drinks on Licensed premises
11.1 Provision of both alcoholic and non
alcoholic drinks from outside of the property, by you or your guests, is not
permitted under any circumstances. If there are reasonable grounds to believe
guests are consuming drinks purchased from anywhere other than the property we
reserve the right to levy a charge of up to £600.
11.2 The only exemption to this is corkage
which must be agreed in writing prior to your stay.
13.1 Due to safety regulations the use of some
equipment is not permitted. This includes but is not limited to Chinese

15.1 Any activities not provided by Bibury
Court Hotel must be fully insured for all relevant insurance, and proof of such
insurances are required by us.
15.2 Whilst it is not a contractual
requirement, we strongly recommend that a suitable travel insurance policy is
affected by you, covering, as a minimum, cancellation and personal accidents.
16.1 Bibury Court Hotel does not accept
liability for any loss or damage caused to any property and personal effects
belongings to you, your guests or any supplier of goods or services whom you
have brought to the property, unless it is as a result of negligence on the
part of Bibury Court Hotel or its employees and such damage or loss was
16.2 You will be liable for any damage caused
to the property as a result of negligence by you or your guests/pets.
16.3 Bibury Court Hotel is not responsible for
supervised at all times and use of the river is at you/ your guest’s risk.
16.4 To the
extent that we can legally limit our liability for damages, costs,
claims, expenses, interest or other liability arising out of the performance or
non-performance by us of our obligations, our liability is limited to an amount
which is one and a half times the value of the deposit and any other advance
payments made by you. This clause does not limit our liability to you for fraud or for
any other liability that may not be lawfully limited or excluded.
17.1 The hotel will take all reasonable steps
to fulfil the reservation to the best of our ability and in accordance with the
details provided. However, we reserve the right to provide alternative services
of at least equivalent standard at no additional cost to the client.
17.2 Likewise, the hotel will pass on to the
Client any additional costs incurred by it in respect of goods and services
outside the hotel’s scope, i.e. extra staff, equipment and services that have
not specifically been agreed on and outlined in writing prior to the stay.
17.3 Whilst the hotel has taken all reasonable
steps to ensure that the information contained in its brochures, tariffs,
leaflets and advertisements is accurate, it reserves the right to alter,
substitute or withdraw any service, facility or amenity without prior notice if
necessary. Please note that food and beverage prices may be subject to change
due to market price increases from the time of booking to the time of the event.
17.4 Not withstanding anything contained in
these Terms and Conditions, the hotel will not be liable for any failure to
perform its obligations to the Client in whole or part as a result of any of
the following circumstances:
Other industrial action(s)
Civil unrest, dispute or commotion
Fire at or near the hotel
Flood at or near the hotel
f) Act of God
Legal action against the hotel, not resulting from its negligence, preventing
the supply of services
h) If there is a
sale of the Property or Bibury Court Limited where we have given you notice of
the sale and refunded your deposit and any other advance payments made by you.
17.5 No variation of these Terms and Conditions
shall be effective unless in writing and signed on behalf of both the hotel and
the Client. In the event of any discrepancy between these Terms &
Conditions and the contract or any other document, these Terms & Conditions
